Director, Energetics Manufacturing
Adranos is seeking a candidate to establish and direct plans and processes for rocket motor research, development, and manufacturing. Adranos is a close-knit, growth-oriented company focused primarily on increasing solid rocket motor performance through the use of its proprietary solid rocket fuel, ALITEC. This candidate would have the opportunity to be involved in a broad array of activities and help Adranos, as an early-stage company, maximize its potential for growth.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
- Develop, direct, and optimize various energetics research, development, and manufacturing processes
- Develop, direct, and optimize various rocket motor assembly processes for tactical-scale systems
- Establish processes to obtain various government-related product and facility certifications
- Establish quality control processes
- Manage the production of customer orders, including fulfillment of all customer requirements
- Build a team of, train, and manage other engineers and technicians
- Manage project costs and schedules
- Perform hands-on research, development, and manufacturing tasks where necessary
- Performing various other tasks and responsibilities based on the needs of the organization
Required Qualifications:
- Must be able to obtain a US Government security clearance
- 5 years of manufacturing engineering experience
- Experience working with 1.1 and/or 1.3 explosive materials
- Experience with mixing and casting energetic material formulations
- Experience manufacturing solid rocket motors for a major prime contractor
- Working knowledge of propulsion fundamentals and/or gas dynamics
- Working knowledge of mechanical design, manufacturing, and data acquisition
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, MS Project, and other operational software
Other Qualifications:
- B.S. in mechanical, industrial, chemical, or other similar engineering field (ABET Accredited)
- Ability to work autonomously with limited organizational structure
- Excellent interpersonal, research, and time management skills
- Grace under pressure and good judgment in sensitive situations
- Capable of prioritizing and managing many tasks at once
- Willingness to assist with projects that drive the company forward regardless of whether they are your responsibility or not
- Ability to wear many hats at once and thrive in scenarios with stretch goals

Job Details:
- Location: Coastal Mississippi
- Compensation: Based on experience and qualifications

Facilities Maintenance Operator
The Facilities Operator role is an important position that directly impacts Adranos’s research, development, and production efforts. This role will involve general building upkeep, receiving/logistics, maintenance matters, and various general assembly tasks.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
- Plan and perform all miscellaneous facility maintenance, labor, housekeeping and assembly tasks required for ongoing facility operations
- Perform shipping, receiving, and other logistical matters
- Manage security matters, including but not limited to doors, locks, gates, windows, alarms, etc.
- Manage health and safety practices in all facilities and provide guidance and management of corrective action
- Facilitate and/or perform grounds keeping, pest control, and maintenance service calls
- Perform various other tasks and responsibilities based on the needs of the organization
Required Qualifications:
- 3 years of experience performing general trade work, including but not limited to carpentry, general construction, plumbing, and/or electrical
- Substantial knowledge of equipment, power and hand tools, facilities, materials, methods and procedures use din maintenance, carpentry, construction and repair
- Must be able to obtain a US Government security clearance
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite of applications

Energetics Manufacturing Technician
Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
- Perform various energetics research, development, and manufacturing processes, including but not limited to mixing, casting, machining, and other similar processes
- Perform various component assembly processes, including but not limited to assembling rockets, casings, nozzles, and other relevant parts
- Perform research and development activities, including but not limiting test firing of rockets
- Set up and maintain a variety of equipment
- Assist with quality control
- Perform various other tasks and responsibilities based on the needs of the organization
Required Qualifications:
- Must be able to obtain a US Government security clearance
- 3 years of hands-on, technician experience with the following:
- Mixing and casting 1.1 and/or 1.3 explosive materials
- Mixing and casting energetic material formulations
- General understanding of propulsion and other energetic material fundamentals
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, MS Project, and other operational software
Other Qualifications:
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
- Ability to work autonomously with limited organizational structure
- Excellent interpersonal, research, and time management skills
- Grace under pressure and good judgment in sensitive situations
- Capable of prioritizing and managing many tasks at once
