Rocket Chemical Technician


Adranos is seeking a rocket chemical technician to support its research, development, and manufacturing efforts. This position would perform operations related to mixing, casting, and assembly of energetic materials and related products.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Under supervision of senior personnel perform energetics research, development, and manufacturing processes, including but not limited to mixing, casting, machining, and other similar processes

  • Under supervision of senior personnel perform component assembly processes, including but not limited to assembling rockets, casings, nozzles, and other relevant parts

  • Assist with quality control, and data collection.

  • Perform other tasks and responsibilities based on the needs of the organization

Required Qualifications:

  • Must be able to obtain a US Government security clearance

  • Associate’s degree in chemistry, engineering, or another similar field

  • 3 years of hands-on technician experience with the following:

    • Chemical handling, storage, and safety in either a lab environment or manufacturing environment

    • Prior work with energetic materials preferred.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, MS Project, and other operational software

  • Grace under pressure and good judgment in sensitive situations

  • Capable of prioritizing and managing many tasks at once

Job Details:

  • Location: 488 E McHenry Road, McHenry, Mississippi

  • Compensation: $20-$25/hour

  • Benefits: Insurance allowance, 401K matching

Aerospace Equipment Engineer


Aerospace Equipment Engineer

Adranos is seeking an equipment engineer to support its rocket fuel production efforts, which includes the melting and atomizing of metal powders. This position would be instrumental in setting up key process and analysis equipment, ramping up manufacturing, improving product yields, developing and maintaining a quality product, and various other efforts.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Provide service support, troubleshooting and calibration
  • Assist system installations and running of processes
  • Gain a thorough understanding of all production-related equipment
    • Metallurgical Processing
    • Facilities
    • QC analysis
  • Define and perform routine preventative maintenance
  • Initiate and implement design improvements to key components
  • Write, review and update instruction manuals and SOP documents
  • Create part numbers for purchasing consumables and spare parts
  • Train equipment users and process technicians

Required Qualifications:

  • Must be able to obtain a US Government security clearance
  • 5 years of experience in a production environment utilizing complex manufacturing equipment.
  • Proven ability to introduce, maintain, and support industrial equipment
  • Proficient with computer applications, including CAD
  • Familiarity with metal processes and/or metal powder manufacturing is preferrable but not required

  • Bachelor’s degree in an engineering field
  • Ability to work autonomously with limited organizational structure
